Life is a journey, not a destination...
Hear incredible real-life stories from people who overcame difficult experiences and want to share their inspiring mental health journey at our Living Library. Take part in this unique and interactive experience that will inspire and encourage you.
What is a ‘Living Library’?
A living library is based on the concept that the ‘books’ are people and instead of reading, you listen to their real life stories. We provide a relaxed, non-judgmental environment where people can feel
empowered and are given the opportunity to meet and speak to people about a topic that we often
shy away from talking about – mental health.
Thursday, 10th October: 10am – 11:30am
Geoffrey Bolton Library Garden Courtyard, North Wing Level 2

Automatic renewals of your loans
Ever forgotten to renew your library loans? We’ve just enabled automatic renewals, which means that you can have items for longer without worrying about renewing!
We will automatically renew your loans from our general collection two times and will send you an email with the new due dates. If you need them for longer, you can manually renew them for a further three times using My Library or at the self check machines at the Library.
If you have items that have been recalled by someone else or cannot be automatically renewed, we’ll let you know via email - please return these items by the new due date to avoid fines.
The only thing we will not automatically renew for you are High Demand items, although you may be able to manually renew High Demand items once via My Library or at the self check machines.
You may be fined if you do not return or renew items by the due date. The easiest way to keep track of your loans or fines is by logging into My Library.
