We’re looking for feedback about the University Library

As part of the University Library’s upcoming review, we’re looking for feedback from staff and students. We would appreciate your including the following information as part of your feedback:
  • What you see as the positives of the Library i.e. what is working well.
  • Any changes or improvements you believe would benefit the Library.

Please send your feedback to the Senior Quality Assurance Officer, Ms Alison Black (A.black@murdoch.edu.au) by Friday 26th August 2016.

Your feedback will assist the review panel identify improvements that can be made to best support Library services across the university.

    It seems that the MU Document Delivery Service is getting worse with time, not better. The main problem is that it is impossible to submit a request that doesn't fit some very-narrowly defined criteria (such as the journal is present in the ArticleReach catalogue). The University needs to get real - if we aspire to do world class research, we must be able to access a much better fraction of the scientific literature, easily and efficiently. This is especially true of literature published before MU existed.
